Beaumaris North Primary School will enrol and admit children who will be five years of age or older at 30 April in the year they commence.
How to Enrol
If you wish to enrol your child at Beaumaris North Primary School, please contact the school Office. The Office staff will be happy to assist you with your enrolment and answer any queries you may have. An appointment will be made for you and your child/ren to meet with the Principal, Assistant Principal or a member of the Leadership Team for a personal tour.
All prospective parents are met by the Principal, Assistant Principals or a member of the Leadership Team and offered a guided tour of the school encompassing all aspects and programs. At the completion of the tour, you will be given an Enrolment Package which includes the following documents.
This confidential form asks for personal information about your child as well as family members and others that provide are for your child. The main purpose for collecting this information is so that BNPS can register your child and allocate staff and resources to provide for their educational and support needs. All staff at BNPS and the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development are required by law to protect the information provided by this enrolment form.
Health information is collected so that staff at BNPS can properly care for your child. We require information about all parents, guardians or carers so that we can take account of family arrangements.
Please let us know if any information needs to be changed by sending updated information to the school Office. During your child’s time with us we will also send you copies of enrolment information held by us. Please use this opportunity to let us know of any changes.
Your child’s ORIGINAL Birth Certificate (or equivalent) and Immunisation Certificate must be provided with your completed Enrolment form for your child to be enrolled.
Our ‘First Aid at BNPS’ document provides an overview of issues relevant to First Aid at BNPS – it must be read, understood and the tear off slip signed and returned to the school before First Aid will be administered to your child.
The Privacy Act legislates strict privacy controls for Government bodies. School are required to have written permission from parents for a range of school programs and activities. In order to streamline the process for all concerned, all of the required authorisations are compiled together and you are asked to complete these authorisations once – they will then remain current for the duration of your child’s attendance at BNPS. If circumstances change, these authorisations may need to be amended and a new authority written.

To ensure that places for all BNPS siblings are allocated, a specific siblings only enrolment week is allocated (usually during April). This is only a brief meeting time for your child to come and meet one of our Principal Class Officers and receive and Enrolment Pack.
