  • Please indicate to your child, what they should eat at recess, fruit break and lunch and ensure all food containers are labelled.
  • Lunch is eaten under teacher supervision from 1.30 - 1.40pm - outside in fine weather, inside if cold, wet or extreme heat.
  • Students must sit down while eating – ‘No seat, No eat!’.
  • All uneaten food is to be taken home. See Rubbish.
  • An increasing number of children have a potentially life threatening nut allergy. Due to the high risk of cross contamination, it would be appreciated if you could refrain from sending any food to school containing nuts e.g. peanut butter sandwiches, Nutella, loose nuts and snack bars containing nuts.

NOTE: Students who bring nut related foods to school must eat such foods at a safe distance from allergic children and wash their hands on completion.

  • It is extremely important that children only eat their own food - they must not share their food at school.
  • Please speak to your child about the importance of washing their hands before and after eating - this will be reinforced at school.
  • A canteen service is conducted each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For more information, please see Canteen.
