Beaumaris North Primary School provides a comprehensive curriculum based on the Victorian Curriculum and the Primary Years Programme (PYP). PYP provides a framework that supports students to become active inquirers and lifelong learners. The Victorian Curriculum F–10 sets out what every student should learn during their first eleven years of schooling. The curriculum is the common set of knowledge and skills required by students for life-long learning, social development and active and informed citizenship.

The Victorian Curriculum F–10 incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian priorities and standards.

Victorian Lesson Plans

At BNPS, our teachers use the Victorian Lesson Plans (VLP) to support high‑quality, consistent teaching and learning across the school. The VLP is a Department of Education resource designed to help teachers plan engaging, evidence‑based lessons that align with the Victorian Curriculum.
