A - Z Parent Guide
Throughout the year the Works Committee schedule whole school working bees to maintain our school grounds. The working bees are held on a Saturday or Sunday, usually from 9.00am until 3.00pm (two shifts) – help of any duration is very much appreciated!
Jobs generally include; maintenance and tidying, tree pruning, planting, painting, clearing gutters and drains, sweeping and rubbish removal, and a sausage sizzle is provided for those who attend.
A note detailing jobs for upcoming working bees are sent home along with a request for parents to bring any useful equipment. For catering purposes, parents are asked to RSVP via a return tear-off slip. Children are welcome but must be supervised by parents.
If you are unable to attend, there is the opportunity to make a donation that is designated to the purchase of materials used at the working bees.
We encourage you to get involved – it’s a great way to help our school and meet other families!
