A - Z Parent Guide
Personal Property
Personal property is often brought to school by students, staff and visitors. This can include mobile phones, iPods, cameras, electronic games, calculators, toys, musical instruments, games, sporting equipment, jewellery and cars parked on school premises. The Department of Education and Training (DET) does not hold insurance nor does it accept responsibility for personal property brought to schools by students, staff and visitors. DET has no capacity to pay for any loss or damage to such property – we strongly discourage members of our school community bringing valuable items to school.
