Restorative Practices
Restorative Practice is the approach we use when dealing with any incident in our school. Restorative Practices are innovative ways to build safe, respectful and caring communities whilst supporting students to take responsibility for their actions. Restorative Practices allow students to acknowledge harmful behaviour, repair any harm that has been done, restore relationships and remain involved with the school community in a positive manner. Restorative Practices are used to manage conflict and difficulties within our school community to promote positive relationships which enable better behaviour and learning. All staff members are trained in the principles of Restorative Practice.
