The Beaumaris North Primary School Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program operates on a non-profit basis and was established in 1990. The Beaumaris North Primary School Council is the sponsor of the service however the management of the service lies with the OSHC Committee of Management. A Coordinator is employed to operate the two programs on a day to day basis.
The program operates before and after school and whole days are offered when the school has a Pupil Free Day.
The Beaumaris North Primary School Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program operates out of the portable at the oval end of the school. Outdoor areas of the school including the oval and playgrounds are also used.
The After School Care Service operates from 3.30pm to 6.00pm each weekday during school terms for 42 weeks of the year. A nutritious snack is provided after school as part of the service. The service also provides an extensive program of creative and recreational experiences for the children.
Prep students are collected from their classroom by an OSHC staff member.
After School Care is also available to those who are unable to collect their child at our earlier end of term dismissal time of 2.30pm and our earlier end of year dismissal time of 1.30pm. Bookings must be made in advance.
Permanent and booked care shall be charged at the full fee unless prior written notice of at least 8 days is given to advise of a cancellation, or a doctor’s certificate within 48 hours is supplied to the Coordinator. If no cancellation is received or cancellations are made after the specified time, the full fee for the session will be charged. Persistent cancellations or cancellations for an extended period may jeopardise the child’s permanent place in the program.
